Email notifications

Configure when and how Voice Nimble sends you email alerts.

What it is #

Notifications are emails Voice Nimble sends you when things happen — a call completes, a refund is requested, a daily summary is due.

Notification types #

Type Fires when
Call completed Any call ends (can be muted in bulk)
Refund request The AI\'s refund skill was triggered
Exchange request The AI\'s exchange skill was triggered
Shipping change A customer asked to change a delivery address
Order cancellation A customer asked to cancel
Draft order created The AI\'s place-order skill created a Shopify draft order
Daily summary Every morning — yesterday\'s totals

Setting your notification email #

    Go to Notifications

    Enter your email address
  3. 3
    Click Send verification email
  4. 4
    Check your inbox → click the verification link
  5. 5
    The email will now show as Verified in the app

Unverified emails are ignored #

This prevents typos from losing notifications. If the verification link never arrives, check your spam folder and resend after 5 minutes.

Frequency controls #

For each notification type you can choose:

  • Instant — fire every time
  • Digest — batched every hour
  • Off — don't send

"Call completed" defaults to Off — otherwise a busy day floods your inbox.

Tips & best practices #

  • Turn on "Refund request" and "Order cancellation" as Instant — they're time-sensitive
  • Keep "Call completed" as Off and rely on the daily summary instead
  • Add a dedicated mailbox (e.g. calls@yourstore.com) so notifications don't mix with other mail

Troubleshooting #

Problem Fix
Verification email not arriving Check spam folder; resend after 5 minutes
Notifications stopped Email likely bounced — re-verify it
Too many emails Switch the noisy notification to Digest or Off
