01 Who we are

Voice Nimble ("we," "us") operates the Voice Nimble Shopify app and voicenimble.com. If you're a merchant using the app, you're the data controller for your customers' information; we're the data processor.

02 What we collect

From merchants (you):

  • Shopify shop domain, owner email, billing plan
  • App usage: pages visited, settings changed
  • Uploaded knowledge base documents (PDFs, text, URLs)

From your customers (when they call):

  • Phone number (caller ID)
  • Voice recording (Advanced and Pro plans only)
  • Transcript of the call
  • Detected intent and sentiment score
  • Shopify order data referenced during the call

03 How long we keep it

Retention varies by plan and data type:

Call transcripts Lifetime of your subscription
Call recordings — Basic Not recorded
Call recordings — Advanced 30 days, then deleted
Call recordings — Pro 90 days, then deleted
Knowledge base documents Until you delete them
Shopify customer data Not stored — fetched live on every call

04 Where it's stored

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Primary storage: MongoDB Atlas (US region). Call recordings: AWS S3 (US region). Servers are hosted with reputable cloud providers and meet SOC 2 standards.

05 Who we share it with

Third-party processors:

  • Anthropic Claude — powers AI conversation (call transcripts are sent for inference; not retained by Anthropic for training)
  • Jambonz — telephony middleware
  • Twilio / Sarkar / FreePBX — carrier (whichever you configure)
  • Shopify — billing and customer data access (per your shop permissions)
  • SMTP provider — email notifications

We do not sell your data or your customers' data.

06 Your rights

You can request:

  • A copy of all data we hold about you
  • Deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Correction of any inaccurate data

Email support@voicenimble.com with the subject "Data request."

07 Your customers' rights

If one of your customers asks you to delete their data, log into Voice Nimble → Call History → find the call → delete. The transcript and recording will be removed immediately.

08 Cookies

voicenimble.com uses only essential cookies (session) and optional analytics cookies (Plausible — privacy-friendly, no cross-site tracking). No advertising cookies.

09 Changes

We'll post updates on this page and notify merchants by email for material changes.
